Hand brake light stays on

I just replaced the cabin air filter. I put everything back together. Now I see the hand brake light stays on. Can a problem w fuse cause this?

I may be wrong, but in some cars the "handbrake light" is a generic brake system light and could indicate low brake fluid level.

I rechecked the fuse box.. I forgot to plug one back in..turn lights and hazards didnt work either
