I found out a had a headlight out tonight on my way to Hamilton and figured I would post this up.

Should I go for an HID retrofit kit or should I just get Osrams or something similar.

Opinions and messages to eff off because there are tons of threads like this already are very welcome :)

HID and don't look back. Kits are pretty much plug and play, and because your car has projector lenses the light output will be pretty effective.

Use 4.5 or 6k bulbs for best light output.

Appreciated Aitch, from what I have seen you give good advice so I'm going to follow it blindly.

I'll throw in my old Bulbs for now and pick up a kit from Garage16 next time I run through Toronto, should be soon.

Huzzah HID's

I wouldn't suggest 6k. Not bright enough IMO. 5300 SHOULD be fine.

I should mention all I seen was atich recommend hids and 4.5 or 6k

Go with 5000k, IMO the best balance between light output and looks.
