This just happened the last couple of days. Every time I stop on the red light the breaks don't make noise, but when I let go of the break there seems to be that creak sound
anyone have an idea on what this is .. I just got this car about a month and half ago and I'm wondering if this covered under warranty.
anyone can help me with this?

More info please (description of noise) and except for calipers/master cylinder, abs, brakes are only covered for a year...Take her in if it worries you , but it might just be from how wet the roads are right now.

I know what you mean, it's most noticeable for me too when its wet out. It almost sounds like it was sticking and just takes a second to let go of the rotor, kinda weird

Pad might be sticking releasing? Take it back to where you bought it and see if they can check it for you.

Should I speak directly to the service guy or the finance manager that sold me the damn car? just wondering because I feel the service guy is gonna dupe me into paying for something.. they should have checked and make sure before releasing the car.

I would speak to both. It could be related to the weather so don't jump the gun they sold you a bad car. Find out what it is first.

I spoke to the finance manager who sold me the car and guess what.. he told me that I should speak to the used sales car manager and the sales rep... i feel like they are going to bounce me around one person to another on this issue.. :bang

I don't think there's anything wrong. My parents' SUV used to do this and we had it checked out but everything was fine. Might just be the weather... with the ice/snow thawing mixed with salt and more moisture. My car did the same thing for about a week and then stopped, this was about a month ago. I still have some weird symptoms that might be linked to my tires or brakes but I'm getting my brakes serviced next weekend though so if there's something wrong they'll find it and tell me.

+1...As mentioned earlier, its probably just a water moisture issue. But good idea to have it checked out anyways.
