Hey everyone...

Need some insight here.

I'm looking to get a little bit lower in the 3 for the summer time, so i'm going to be looking at some springs. Right now i have about 40K on my 2011, and the suspension is still pretty stiff (not showing major signs of play, or abnormal wear)

I was looking to drop it about 1.5", no more. The Tein are showing a 1.6" drop which is fine. But i'm seeing members recording a 2" drop.

This might be a bit too aggressive on the OEM shocks..

Objective - Remove a bit of wheel gap for new wheels on the way
Personal wants - Not too rough of a ride, but something still comfortable for every day driving

What's peoples input on this? I know its probably been covered a few times, but i'm looking for specifics on a Gen2, with these springs, on these shocks.

Any input would be great. thanks in advance!

Get Pro Kits and replace the shocks/struts while you at it to save paying for the install twice. Koni has 25% on yellows and oranges until May 31st. I will be getting Koni Oranges and Prokits from Alphamotorsports for a really good price :)

I'm assuming you're speaking of Eibach springs.. Sorry, im not a huge fan of Eibach's on Winnipeg roads.... Right now I'm on the fence on H&R, and Tein.
Adding Koni's to the install just topped another grand, which im not planning on doing right away. I don't mind replacing them if need be.

Also keep in mind at our dollar right now, buying anything from the USA would be highway robbery at the moment...

From what I hear, tein s techs are a harsher ride than pro kits

I have s techs and stock shocks. The ride is pretty good,I actually forget what she rode like before. Grab some, springs for now,and save for shocks/struts down the road

Im on the Mazdaspeed springs (Eibach) with stock strut/shocks. The ride is very nice. Not too harsh.

i'm switching from s-techs to pro-kits cause i'm finding the ride is rough and the s-techs are too low on the front end

Allow me to suggest Road Magnet 1.25"; Progressive springs and even drop all around unlike the prokit which the racked setup.
