There seems to be a lot of police officers on the highways today and figured why not start a thread to help out other members. If the mods think this is unethical, or a poor choice in names, please feel free to delete this thread.

Make sure if you are yo update this, that you are not doing it while driving. Just mention it when you get a minute. These sightings are from 8-915 this morning

OPP looking for speeders
- Along the 401 between Woodstock and london.
- There are also OPP on the 403 between Woodstock and brantford

Waze is pretty good for this. People add things like accidents, construction, cops, etc to the nav maps so you can keep an eye out

EDIT
i see i was beaten to it

Would be handy. I kinda meant this as a day-day thing but post up the most common spots too

Lets do both, and then the day-day stuff will pop up when people post

They sit all along highway 6. Mainly at 5, the former nude colony road (I always forget the name but always remember the sign that used to be there haha), Campbellville Road and Guelph/Puslinch Townline (they get you when your going from the 80 to the 60)

27 between 9 and 88. (Cottage country route for alot of people) Brown truck and black suv consistently cruise there to catch speeders. HE WILL NAIL YOU FOR 10 OVER!!! Hes been doing it for 5ish years.

Add 400 and canal rd, both north and south to asyeds post.

All this being said I don't think anyone should post ride traps.

Can't speak for today, but I know the OPP like to sit on the 115 around Porter Road (exit 26) behind the corner heading north. They also like to hang out around highway 7/7A.

I see them there every single day......they also like to sit on the southbound side of the 400 at the Innisfill Beach Sideroad on ramp to the 400. Your coming up over a hill and by the time you see them there -too late they got ya!

This spot is brutal! They basicly stay hidden at all underpasses that are north of Highway 9 on the 400.

For anyone driving midtown:
Eglinton WB from don mills to Leslie, they frequently park under the train bridge and pick people off coming down the hill.

Lawrence avenue between mt. Pleseant and bayview. They watch EB traffic from the south side street there.

Also do not speed across the bayview bridge just north of Lawrence. There are often speed traps on both ends at TFS and Crescent most weekends. Let all the Audi's pass you and you will be fine.

Every Sunday morning, on Eglinton westbound approaching Leslie, there is a speed trap set up under the railway bridge. I always do the speed limit (60) on this stretch and always see someone else get pulled for 10-15 over the limit.

BTW I hate going to York region at night. Twice now in different cars I've been pulled over for no reason other than being in a lowered car with dark windows. I don't get ticketed for the tint, they just ask me about other stuff they notice once I'm stopped (and also don't get ticketed for, like LEDs, exhaust etc). In Toronto I have not yet been pulled over at night like this.

Usually a cop hangs out at the end of highway 427 North right at Zenway.

They usually have a speed gun ready as you go over the upslope because speed drops from 100 to 50 in 2 km.

That speed trap is set up almost every day during the afternoon. I always do 60 and there are always people who swerve around me to get pulled over :chuckle

Yup! can confirm. Always make sure to do 60 along this stretch. Sometimes they set up shot going Eastbound too close to Don Mills. They can tuck up on that side street exit for whatever company is across the street.

Yeah I used to see them there often during the summer. Not so much last year but I might not be there at the right times.
