When I bought my Gen1 it came with a vent pod prosport electric boost gauge. Never really liked it but for some reason right after I installed a bpv it went all crazy on me. It now reads inaccurately.. When at light throttle its showing that i'm hitting 10 psi and at WOT the needle shoots up to max psi and sets off the warning light/sound. Not sure about anyone's experience's with electronic boost gauges but this one wasn't functioning that great from when I got the car. I went to the dealer and they said that its either a defective gauge or there was some modifications and a reflash to increase the boost:loco but they cannot prove it so all they can do is reflash back to stock... Anyways I plan to just get the dash gauges because I dont like the vent pod so much. So my question for you is what would be the most beneficial 3 gauges to get considering that I already have a accessport v2.

Why not fix the gauge? I'd be worried about what the gauge is showing...especially if you installed a BPV (a very important part of the turbo system) and it changed after that.

Well I have an AP so I can see what my actual boost is and I took off the bpv and put stock back in for now but still having issue. Yes fixing it is another option but I brought it to the dealer so if they can't fix it how can I?

Because dealer's really know how to fix aftermarket parts....find a local speed guy willing to help.

The boost sender is "T"d off the same boost source as the BPV correct? Did you disconnect the sender when you were installing the BPV?

it wouldn't read anything if that was the case

I mean, was it disconnected and then reconnected at any point in time. Seriously, jiggle the wire a bit, push it in more or pull it out a bit, it might work.

Put on a forge v2 wiggled the wires a bit didn't work. Had a couple runs with a sti later that day and it started to work again. Don't know what was wrong but seems ok now. Thanks for the help.
