Does anyone know where to find this?

I've searched high and low, but i can't seem to find the information possible for the swap of the OEM lens for the Morimoto kit that i had purchased.

Getting them apart shouldn't be an issue, but i would like to have some sort of guideline to follow before attempting anything.

Thanks in advance.

Take apart, wiggle out, if doesn't wiggle out, wiggle harder. If still doesn't wiggle out, you maybe have missed a clip. If no clip, you may need to cut.

I haven't seen a guide anywhere.

What i'm more concerned about is the retro kit that I purchased with the bracket assembly. I realize how to take them apart, i can't seem to find a picture of the headlight disassembled to do the actual retrofit. I'm worried that once they are opened up, that the hardware isn't correct.

Hopefully that's a little more clear, cause my first post was a weee bit vague lol

Hey thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately those are just the plug and play versions. What i'm about to do is a complete projector swap (internal disassemble of the OEM housing, and swapping projectors with HID rated units)

I'm hoping to find an image of the OEM projector to see if the bolt holes match up from GEN1 to GEN2, because TRS actually sent me the mounting bracket for a GEN1 and told me it would fit. However, i can't even see a write up for the Gen2 anywhere, other then the headlight dis-assembly for painting them. I think i may be stuck biting the bullet and cracking open a housing tomorrow.

Thanks though!

Update:

After looking through the TRS site, it appears that they have updated it substantially since i went there last. The bracket is now listed as an 09-2013. Seems like they are the correct brackets, so in they go! Will follow up with a complete walk through for the 2010+ MZ3's!

I see you posted on HIDPlanet. Keep asking around on there as the people on that site are extremely helpful as are the guys at TRS.

Yes i did post on HIDP, but never got anywhere.

The headlights are coming out tomorrow, and a complete guide will be posted, hopefully in the near future.

Thanks!

Update - Retrofit is complete. Everything fit like a glove, just about to go outside and level up the beams.

Will post up a short and sweet retrofit with a few images. In the meantime, enjoy the eye candy.

For the record, HIDplanet actually linked me to another mazda site that had the write up.

http://mazda3revolution.com/forums/2010-2013-mazda-3-skyactiv-appearance-interior/6105-bi-xenon-hid-projectors-install-review.html

MZ3rev had the full detail on how to do this. However i didn't need to cut anything from my lens. I guess i got a 2nd revision to the adapter plate that worked fine.

No issues with the setup other then an odd alignment issue. But that might be just me, since i've never had a car with true HID's before.

Congratulations. I did the same on 2011. TRS kit was very easy install. No cutting required.
