Just picked up these 17x7.5 10 spokes for the 3 yesterday, I have no idea what brand or style they are since the seller didn't either. I checked inside and couldn't find any marking other than "17x7.5" and "Made in USA". No center caps either... I tried taking the center caps off of my Dakota to test fit and they are slightly too big.

Here's 2 pics:

The tires are DONE! And there is so much crap/brake dust on them I can't it off. Tried Simple Green, Mother's Cleaner Wax, Chrome Polish, WD40 and even brought out the 0000 steel wool. So far the steel wool is showing me the best results but I'm hesitant to keep using it.

Anyone recommend a HEAVY DUTY rim cleaner? I've heard of oven cleaner but that'll like damage the rim.

Thanks

Forgot to mention the best part... picked all 4 up for $150. Yet they need a GOOD cleaning and new tires.

use steel wool and some kind of polishing/buffing compound for chrome...dont use steel wool by itself

not feeling the wheels... for $150, that's not bad I suppose

btw, "shoes" usually means tires

For $150 they look damn good. And yes, shoes is often used to refer to wheels.

Try Iron x. Then follow up regularly with sonax.

Shoes = wheels.

Wheels = tires + rims.

Could care less what ya feel.

Thx to the others!

So if the rubbers are called the shoes, then it would only make sense that the rim be called socks? Lol

Maybe oem centre caps would work? Looks about the right size and they are cheap.

Should say "couldn't care less what ya feel" ^^

and the rubber is referred to as the shoe...(think of the rims as feet :P)

You are correct that wheels generally refers to the rim and tire together.
