Wondering if I can use centering rings to convert lug-centric spacers into hub-centric spacers.
Having a tough time finding a set of spacers to match the hub on my Terrain.
Anybody have any ideas on this?

depends on the inside diameter of the spacer. but if the spacer is already centered by lugs...it shouldnt need to be centered by the hub too. unless its one of those universal ones, which arnt considered centered at all

The Terrain has a CB of 67.1 and shares the same bolt pattern as a BMW - 5x120
All the spacers I find are Hub centric to BMW fitment 72.1mm
What I'm thinking is ....
If I can get Hub rings in 72.1 to 67.1 - I'm guessing it would convert my lug-centric spacer into Hubcentric - relieving the stress off of the lugs.
... But I don't want to dump the money for 4 hub rings and 4 spacers that might or might not work

how thick are these spacers? i would honestly look into extended studs if your concerned about stud stress/strength (which for a truck, i would)

Studs are already 3" off the hub - Spacers are 15mm.
The main purpose for the spacer is because the studs are hitting the back of the lugs before they're fully tightened.
Also - that's the reason I want them Hubcentric - to relieve the stress off of the studs
