OK, so we have a 'drivers' car but we are stuck on a stsyem of grids. I want to know where the local nice drives are. (I searched, but did not find a thread for this yet)

I'm not saying we should *cough* break any driving laws on these roads (Take it to the track for this), but you can't help but enjoy a nice twisty section in a car that feels as responsive as ours does.

So I will start.

Twyn Rivers Drive - https://goo.gl/maps/rMxyn
The kink on the left is an awesome downhill that feels like a rollercoaster as you go down it. The rest of it is just nice :)

Where are your favourite 'driving' roads?

RTE 101 in quebec (highway 63) in ontario out of north bay is pretty awesome nicly paved lots of hills and sharp corners through the forest and along the river, also the 507 in peterborough is a nice road very well liked by motor cycle riders as an awesome road to drive on (unfortunaly there are usually a few death on it very summer)

search 'the hamilton nurburgring' in google. I like the forks, but this is serioulsy the best putt ive driven. Makes it easier if you have a second person or can memorize street names

forks of the credit.

I heard someone saying the installed speed bumps? Any truth to that? Was planning on going this weekend.

I get to drive a portion of forks of the credit every day on the way to work and can, unfortunately, confirm the speed bump rumors are true. They aren't new however - they've been there for a few seasons now. They were removed for the tail end of last summer / fall, but appear to have been reinstalled in the past few weeks. be careful, they could be very dangerous if you werent expecting them, even when driving the speed limit.

Seeing how many *******s rip through there, I can see why the residents would have them installed.

yeah that makes sense. My wife and I drove down to tail of the dragon a year ago and I am missing that so much. I am sure Jonjon can confirm!! lol

Yeah, it's just a shame that they've ruined one of Ontario's most beautiful driving roads.

Hockley road just north of Orangeville is pretty nice too though.. just take Hwy 10 right up and turn right on Hockley.

Muskoka road 8/ limber lost road at hwy 60 and hillside just East of Huntsville. Its the windy road to camp Olympia. If you continue on past the camp, it is really fun all the way to blue lake and the gravel pit. Twists, banked corners and newly paved :D

twin rivers is nice but its way too short, its nice being so close to me though
I'm not sure exactly where but there are a bunch of nice roads near Hamilton that my dad took me on years back.
Also theres a nice road behind the toronto zoo, they just need to fix the bridge, the thing is just patch work now making it terrible.

Oh, this one is obvious but the long winding road which is parallel to niagra falls once you start driving north out of the city. It goes through some park lands, eventually ending up in wine country. Nice drive.

Appleby Rd. Lots of roads up in the Escarpment.

Yeah it's short, but the hill section makes it worth it. And yeah, it's local to me.

I found that other one you mentioned too recently. Was hacking it down there in the Fiat 500 rental I had. Was fun :)

Seeing some nice looking roads in this thread - shame they are all so far from me lol.

I love driving down the DVP when there's no traffic. Sweet little drive on the way down.

This is true, I'm on it at 440 every morning and it's mostly empty, on for too short of a time to get to the good parts but the off ramp is good fun

Twyn Rivers is short but a lot of fun to loop around over and over. I live close so I try to stop by and push my car a little when I can :)

Old Finch is the other road nearby but has been under construction for at least a year now.
