Had my MZ3 in to check the noises today and they were super at the dealership!
I gave a detailed description of the 3 problem areas: 1. alternator-A/C-wp belt noises (new A/C clutch installed); 2. Thumping from rear suspension left side (new shock installed), and clickity- clack noise from right rear passenger side... well that one they didn't fix. But I took the mechanic and then he took his supervisor on the road so they both could hear it and they are keeping it overnight and going to try to fix it tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Warranty made good.

Duke.

Follow up: Kingston Mazda replaced right shocks to solve ticking sound and that cured the issue. However, the belt noises were still there and belt was frayed on the outer edge and squealing. Also a new sound of rattling from the rear suspension and very loud clunk on sharp right turns (parking lot) appeared within 2 days. Back to Kingston Mazda... couldn't get the car to display its naughtiness, but they drove it 15 mins, and then with me 15 more minutes, still nothing clearly audible. I left it again overnight and just picked it up today. New belt tensioner installed and new sway bar end link on right side. All covered under warranty. I paid $55 for a new serpentine belt and it was well worth it. Car sounds and feels solid now. The guys at Kingston Mazda were great, they took the time to listen to me, the car, and actually fixed the issues. Duke and the Duchess are happy campers.
