Just saw this on FB

If you guys ordered something from them recently just double check the status. As per the comments, it looks like even they don't know what orders were lost.

I doubt our JBR order was part of this shipment as to my knowledge it has not actually shipped.

The JBR group buy's shipping is done by me personally through UPS.

This post refers to individual orders done directly through JBR.

Not sure if I understand correctly, so you paid to get parts delivery to you. Their courier screw it up or whatever, you arent getting your part. They are giving you an exception to refund your postage. WOW.

If no exception, so the deliver truck crashed, you SOL?

Yep, think so.
This is why you can pay extra for insurance I think. Most people just want to ship as cheaply as possible though...

edit-yeah.

I am pretty sure Jamie will take care of you if your order was part of that shipment. As far how USPS handles their claims I have no clue

Not exactly sure how ups works in this situation. Insurance typically is not included anymore in parcels (can post). Its usually an additional charge of like 2.50$ per 100$. Worth it for more expensive parts.

When I worked for can post: customers would often wait up to 6 months for their reimbursement of lost/ damaged stuff. UPS should definitely be better than that, if there was any insurance included in the shipping.

Sorry misread that. Best check how it was shipped through USPS, and see if there is any base insurance included. USPS severely downsized a few years ago so they may have similar parcel service cuts jus as can post has had --> no more complementary insurance included.

Also: Not sure how to add extra insurance thru online orders. :\
