DTC#1 U1900 code thrown before flashing the ECU?

So I have a 07 MS3 and before flashing the ECU with the hypertech tuner it threw a DTC#1 U1900 code.
I did some search on the net but didn't find anything informative apart from people saying
it's some sort of miscommunication code. Has anyone experience this?

The only mods I have for my car is a Cobb SRI and rear motor mount.

Not interested in the AP as I am not heavily modding my car (modding stopped at SRI, TIP and RMM).
I just had to clear the code before flashing but wanted more information on the code.
