Hi All,
Recently purchased a 2014 Mazda 3 GS.
Just wanted to share my experience for anyone considering a new purchase.
After doing my homework, calling, email bompbing, and lots, lots, lots of internet research, "torontomazda3.ca" especially!
I was able to set a price in my head/and in my wallet that I would be comfortable with for a brand new GS.
After contacting about 6 or 7 dealerships, One dealership was very aggressive for my business and gave me a very enticing offer. :D
Whitby Mazda was also very helpful and did their best to match my goal.
But I ended up with speaking and eventually buying from Edward Galvez from Ajax Mazda for a few reasons...
After a bit of negotiating through emails & calls (nothing strenuous) we were able to sit down and set a price that I was 100% comfortable with.
They came extremely close to trying to match the best quote I got from the other dealership but I was happy and satisfied with the price we settled with as it was within MY BUDGET.
The whole process took about a day or so. Also it helped that the location was close to home, plus I had a family referral there!
Although there was a minor hiccup (car took an extra half day for pickup), they gave me free oil changes for my patience. WIN :D
All in all, I was able to hit my mark with the budget I set out from the start.
I can only reassure anyone purchasing to do your research before hand *for me it was roughly 2 months* (of setting my min/max budget, out the door price, accessory options, and including other fees like PPSA, license fees, taxes etc) so no surprises came my way when it was time to sign.
OH and Insurance Cost! don't forget to do your research on that.
Anyways, here's my new GS at Ikea eating 75 cent hotdogs to save money now! :chuckle
