2014 Mazda 3 cracking sound from driver side window.

Hi ,

Wondering if anyone with the 2014 model get a cracking sound from driver side window when car is moving and window is partially opened?

I think it could be from the thin silver trim on the outside that is loose or bending creating cracking noise, but I could be wrong.

Any insights would be great.

Do you have the factory installed door visors?

I've had this since Day 1 on my 2012. I wouldn't call it cracking, more like "knocking" sound but I think you're talking about the same thing as me.

I discovered the same issue lately. When the window was slightly open..... it that something that warranty will cover?

For sure it would be covered... Take it in and tell them about it.

I had a rattle in the passenger side a-pillar and brought it back a couple times because the sound kept coming back. Fixed now.
