When I pulled my door apart to upgrade mine they were, I think, just wired/spliced into the original wiring (it's been a while).

The crossover was built into the OEM tweeter itself I think.

So (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong) if you are just running these off the stock wiring, and they are OEM, as in have the crossover built in, just splice em into the OEM wire and yer good to go.

NOTE: I'm not 100% sure on this so you prob wanna get a second confirmation before you start cutting.

Those look like two different tweeters in the pic so I'm not sure what your'e asking?

The door panels are wired for the factory tweeters, but this helps you zero if you are doing aftermarket components.

Mine didn't come with them. I had to wire them to the deck myself.

A) yes you can
B) you gotta find the wires
C) i dont know which wires

my car came with them and theres dedicated wires coming off the loom for them. the cars that didnt come with them dont have these wires so youll probably have to dig deeper to find which wires you need

I'm pretty sure he only has a GS. Iirc only the GTs came with it. I've never seen any wires for it before. I might be wrong but I don't ever remember seeing tweeters on a GS unless someone installed them aftermarket.

i have a GS hatch with factory tweeters (according to my vin anyways). but i have things like the 2.3, moon roof, side skirts, 17' 5spoke which point out my car is actually a GT?

unless the previous owner bought it with all the options :/

Thanks for the comments everyone. Basically what ended up happening is I went to the wreckers and found a hatch that had these oem tweeters. They were super cheap so I just grabbed them without knowing if I could even use them. Basically I was just wondering if all the 3's were stock wired for them so I could do direct plug and play but from what I'm reading it doesn't sound like it?

Hmm might be a difference with hatch and sedan. And some may have gotten them factory which would give the wires and the ones that never came factory never got the wires. All I did was wire my tweeters to the front door speakers. And its worked thus far.
