I don't know if it's "based" on limitless but it's certainly a very similar premise, maybe going a little further.

The only qualm I have with these films is that the claim that humans only use 10% of their brain is untrue. I'm not very good at suspending disbelief haha

As with any Sci-Fi movie, you have to suspend belief some of the time in order to be entertained.

saw it last weekend, decent. if you can't focus on more than two things happening in a movie this isn't for you. lotsa story/action and multiple thought processes throughout. 4/5
