Door paint issue

Hey guys/girls

My wife has a 2008 gt sedan. Her driver door paint near he window has started fading. Almost like the clear coat is lifting or something. Has anyone had this issue? Do you guys know if it can be repaired without painting the whole door? Thanks.

you will need to paint the whole door
once the binder agents in the paint fails, there's nothing you can do to stop it
