Hey guys, This long weekend I'm taking my brand new second hand used... 2009 Seadoo RXT for a rip up in wasaga now i am very unclear on certain rules and laws. Now i have a private beach that's shared with the little community in the area if i wanted to take it for a run and beach it is that legal? Another question is if i want to take my friend on the tube and tow do i need a 3rd person to spot? Maybe if you guys are doing the same thing and own a pwc we could meet up?

If you had your boaters license you should have all these answers since it's all in the book.
I just use mine to fly board.
1. No issue with beaching it other than it can hurt the sea doo
2. Yes you need a spotter.

Spotter is required, there is a $125 fine for not having a spotter. On top of that, it is also a fine-able offense if you don't have a seat available for the driver, the spotter and the person being towed. So a 3 seater is required.

Believe it's a 2009, it's a 255 RXT Supercharged, just had the supercharger rebuilt on it.

We bought it at 110 hours used, at which point it was rebuilt. Rebuild was included, I think we're over 120 hours already and have only had it a couple weekends.

Haha just google zapata racing.
About $8000 to start and you can no longer drive the sea doo itself ;-)

Bought a 2009 (which is not new....) Sea Doo to fly board, we were using a friend on the lake's Sea Doo until we got ours (he has a 215)
Anyways, I shall stop thread jacking ;-)
so from what I gather from that youtube video is that you have a sea doo at high rpms not going anywhere so that a dude can hover on jets of water?
is that correct?

5000 rpms is not high for that seadoo....
You pull the sea doo with the hover-ness.
It's fun to be 15-30 feet in the air on it though
I think it would be more fun to be going 130kph on the sea doo

Well it only does 70 MPH, which is 113 Km/h apprx.
It was fun for a bit to go that fast, but I enjoy the fly boarding more.... doing back flips > all
