Squeaking noise on my 2012 mz3 gs-l sky

So I have this weird squeaking noise that occurs every now and then when I shift but also just randomly when I hit a bump or something, I'm not sure what this could be but I suspect motor mount? Could someone clarify this to me? Before I go and buy one?!

You should still be covered under warranty, take it into dealer to see if they can recreate the noise. Good luck.

The issue is it will happen every now and then like not at all today but three times the day before

That's always the way isn't it,lol. If it's loud enough you may be able to record the noise on your cell and take it into dealer.

Reddie1337 was just telling me about this, and he just lubed up the whole shifting assebly under the intake. Said it fixed the squeek. I havent heard this noise yet though

So does it happen just when you press down your clutch pedal?

Yes but not all the time, I find it will also happen without pressing the clutch

I normally drive with my music on but yesterday I noticed a few times when I press the clutch pedal down to shift I heard a squeaking noise. I plan on taking my car in on another matter and will ask them to check the squeak out and report back what they say if u want.

I talked with SomeGuy a while ago about the same squeak when shifting...I believe it was diagnosed as the spring on the clucth pedal assembly.

@bullydogracing it does happen when I shift so it could be what Reddie1337 had

I have a couple different noises. One comes out of the clutch spring (lubed as well) that comes back after a couple weeks, another one was everything in the front. Cables, linkage going into the transmission. Everywhere.

my 2010 was squeaking especially in winter when driving on bumps and slow speed or when shifting first to second and second to third gear.
Ended up having a transmission mount replaced

I had similar issue for a month. A clunking sound when starting, and then when shifting. Sometime when hitting a bump. Dealer said there was a TSB on the clunking when I brought it in.

TSB 01-013/13 states: "Some vehicles may exhibit a squeak noise from the engine compartment when the vehicle starts moving and/or at the time of transmission shifting. This is caused by a stick-slip noise occuring at the contact surfaces between the #4 engine mount rubber and the #4 engine mount bracket when the engine shakes back and forth."

The correction is to replace the mount and rubber.

i had the same noise on my mazda 3 gs-sky is was a transmission mount, go to your local dealer its covered under warrenty :)
