2014 Mazda3 GS - GPS SD CARD CANADA/USA

I am looking to acquire the SD card for the 2014 MAZDA3 with Canada and USA Maps.

I heard that you cannot insert a used SD as the SD gets married to the first car its inserted into. Is this true?

Has someone hacked the software and is able to duplicate a virgin card?

The dealer wants $425 I think. I saw one on ebay for $395 CAD + 14.00 Shipping. In Richmond, BC.

I think I can get 10% off at Westown Mazda in Etobikoke but I hear TM3 members can get 20% off at Mazda of Toronto. Is this correct?

just pay $400...it's not that much money for a legit functioning gps..why wait for hack version that may or may not come and may cause problems down the road and not sure about receiving updates.

The SD card gets locked to the VIN after it has been plugged in and driven ~100km. You cannot use a used SD card after that point. I wouldn't trust a hacked version or a duplicated card. Your best bet is the 20% off at MoT if you can get it or find a cheaper one on ebay.
