View Full Version : Avante Mazda - you guys still didn't send the cheque to pay for the wheel, statefarm

Hey Ted or Aaron, Exclusive Wheel and Tire is STILL waiting on that cheque you supposedly sent out months ago. It's September and I still didn't get back the money for the wheel. What's up with this?

FYI back story - Had a collision and got Avante to fix up my Mazda 5 as per Statefarm's cheap garbage policy using used parts and refinishing a wheel rather than replace. So I chose to get a new wheel and pay the difference, which wasn't much. So I paid up front for the wheel to the shop I deal with and Ted from Avante said he will send out the cheque to the wheel shop. This was father's day weekend, which is in JUNE. It's almost 3 months now.

This is NOT the service I expect from Avante. Also I'm still missing the clips for the sunshade which the body shop lost so I can't install it again...

Ted/Aaron got in contact with me, but until the cheque has been received and also my sunvisor clips are back, I will keep this thread.

All we can say is please be patient; I am reliably assured that the cheque is imminent!

Good on avante to create an account to address this issue. And they're right, be patient! Waiting on cheques from insurance companies can be worse than pulling teeth. From my personal experience at least.

1/2 resolved, cheque finally received after nearly 3 months... I still don't have my sunvisor clips still... I suggested them to just pull them off the white mazda 5 demo that was in showroom that have the sunshades.. still no response, will call again tomorrow
