Hi
Since I bought the car which was in April 2014 the engine light AT light and tractions constantly appears and disappears - I have complained service center and have been to them almost 6 to 8 times they do something and ask me drive and see and the problem always remain there - The life of my car is finishing and km is being put on, my time, my gas, my money all i have to pay for visiting mazda and its extra and on top it once warranty is over I know I will end up paying maintenance from my own pocket. I didnt buy new car for running into these issues - they are not paying attention and not serious I have spoken to assistant manager Abdullah repeatedly but no use. I requested them to replace my car or give my money back. I dont want mazda at all now- they have given me enough distress and so much disappointment. If this is not solved I will be going to court - they guys just want to sell their car and dont want customers good relationship and dont feel how complaints need to be taken care - its $25000 worth they don feel my pain and not trying resolve - I will ask people not to buy mazda especially from Erinmills mazda dealership - I will be updating my experience with them to this forum

That's terrible. Hope you get it fixed soon. Try another dealership,
Is it a GX, GS?

Keep us updated and no they won't replace and give you a new Mazda, but hopes they solve the issue with you on that car.

Its not a bad idea to get a second opinion. Have you completed all your regular maintenance? If so there should be no issue getting it warranty approved.
The only thing is, in order for a proper diagnosis, the lights should be on during the diagnostics (or so I hear).
If you are still experiencing this call our Service team at Achilles Mazda 289-627-1800. They know their stuff.
Your Mazda should not be doing this.

+1 on Achilles. I bought my car from them 7 years ago and never had any problems (that I didn't create that is). They were very helpful and were straight up with me.

Thanks - the issues were there in the brand new car there was no maintenance required untill 8000 km and that is oil change only...I had those issues from arnd 300 kms which was I think second week from my purchase and its been there since...let me just get complete plan from my dealership as what they decide with my case and I take from there

Erin Mills Mazda is horrible. They sold me a car they didn't have. The contracts were signed and I was waiting for my new car to arrive. A week later they emailed me saying they couldn't get me the car I bought (which they had promised they would have "no problem" getting). Erin Mills Mazda was unprofessional and a huge waste of time. It's dealerships like Erin Mills Mazda that give salesmen a bad name. When they failed to deliver on their end of the deal, they offered me something else but I walked. I could no longer trust them with my money. I will never deal with these clowns again.

As someone previously suggested in this thread, go to Achilles Mazda in Milton.

Common Practice for dealership (at least from my experience), they will make you sign the sales agreement then search for your car out of city or even out of province.
Then they will persaude the buyer to settle with a different trim model, or color if they cant find your model.

A nightmare to get your deposit back as well.

It's bullshit. They told me they had the car on their off-premises lot. Then they came back to me and said "sorry, we don't have that car with the Convinience package on our lot. But don't worry, we are part of dilawri automotive group so we will have no problem getting your car".

Then after wasting my time (many hours in their dealership, and over a week of waiting for my car) they couldn't come through on their end of the deal. They still tried assuring me that everything was okay and tried avoiding me… I think when this happens, their tactic is to delay delay delay… waste peoples time… so that after a few weeks, customers just give in and say "okay, I'll settle for a different trim/colour". Thankfully I stayed on them and kept e-mailing/calling them everyday so they couldn't give me too much of a run around.

They also try to nickel and dime you. We agreed that all-weather floor mats would be included. Then when the contract came, it wasn't on the contract. I questioned the manager about it and he said after re-calculating everything he wouldn't be able to include them. He didn't even say it to my face either. What a scumbag. He tried pulling a quick one on me, hoping I wouldn't notice that it wasn't on the contract. So I said I was going to walk out, just on principle alone. Then he quickly changed again and said he will include the floor mats as we originally agreed. It was pathetic. The only reason I continued after that was because we already invested so much time there. The managers at Erin Mills Mazda have no shame. They will try to screw you over if it means a few extra dollars in their pocket.

There are other Mazda dealerships in the area. I strongly recommend the Achilles Mazda dealership in Milton. It might be 10-15 minutes further away, but it will save you a lot of time and hassle in the long run. And you'll actually feel good about buying a car from Achilles Mazda.

It's been 5 business days since I signed with Gyro Mazda and I'm hoping this won't be my experience. I have intentionally left them alone to do whatever it is they need to do to secure my vehicle, but it's disappointing that no attempt has been made to contact me with updates.

There are 2 hours left in their business day and I am not expecting a call. It's too early to start worrying about when I'll take delivery of the vehicle, but you'd think this is basic post-sales customer service.

Same thing happened to me at Markham Mazda. When I brought my car in for an oil change they gave me some BS about needing to replace brake and transmission fluid, and cabin filter.

At that point I only had the car for 3 months, and the cabin filter was brand new. Scammers!

I had given Erin Mills Mazda my car for 11 days to fix. I had two problems. USB not working and gurgling sound from somewhere in the engine compartment. Neither was fixed. Called Mazda Canada, and they left the Service Manager 4 messages to call me back to get it fixed. Never was called back!
