I hear something when I click the button, other 3 windows work.
How do I fix this?
How do I open the door panel?
thanks

Also, if I would have to guess, it's probably the gear. They are made of plastic and break often

I've got this happening right now too, I suspect it's the switch itself, because if I press it faster it engages. Gonna pick up either a new switch or a new cluster. Whenever is easier to grab from a scrapped 3.

Gen 1- carefully flip up screw covers with flathead, remove screws, remove plastic door handle piece, remove mirror plastic piece, take off panel from bottom slowly and carefully. Remove both wire harnesses from the door panel and it should be completely free. Its not too difficult. And to put a new one in shouldn't be too difficult. I did it on my rear side and so far so good! If you do go to the wreckers to get another window module you should grab clips just in case you break any taking the panel off.
