Just recently purchased a 2014 Mazda3 Sport less than a month ago.
I got ppf work done on it two weeks ago and got my windows tinted his week.

It might be a coincidence but after having the PPF done, I'm finding MANY flies surrounding my car (on top of the car, on the hood, on the sides of the doors and some dead ones on the hood and top of my car) and I find a couple fly out when I open my car door and a few in the door jams.

I park on the street and there are trees around.
I think it could be the change from Summer to Fall, so it could be coincidental.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how would you suggest to mitigate.

Hoping someone could provide some advice.
ugh, and to boot, I found minor scrapes on the left rear side on my car. :(

First, what is PPF?

Second, the nats/afids whatever you want to call them are out again and there's nothing you can do. Anytime you open your door, they're going to get in. Best way to get them out is just drive with the windows down for a bit and they should blow or get sucked out.

not really a good idea.. same thing happened to me yesterday.. i tried opening all my windows and instead of the flies being thrown out by the wind.. they went in and got stuck on my headliner.. i end up carefully picking each fly off just so i don't get my headliner dirty

Do you park under any trees? I have this problem too, it might be from tree sap.

Are they midges? Or house flies. I have midges all around my house . As I am closer to the water. They piss me off

trees are close by where I park.
It's just concerning as I hope those things aren't laying eggs in the car....

My car is constantly being covered in flies where I am. I clean my car regularly as you can always see their little turd dots on my silver paint. lol

They are probably midges. I always have my car covered in them when it's parked outside for a while

I have nothing to add except to say - my reading "slydexia" kicked in and I read this thread title as "Man flies in new car". After which I was disappointed.

Both together. Only one or the other is ordinary.

i never get flies, but i get lady bugs.. they're just drawn to my car. When it was warmer there were always at least a dozen at any given time. Maybe they think i'm driving their leader? my wife parks beside me and doesn't get any
