Hi, I know nothing about audios....ill throw some stupid questions top the experts on TM3...
I see the Eonon unit has 2 sub outputs... Sub1 and Sub 2 both in RCA. My question is,
1. Can I directly connect my subwoofer to the unit without having have to go thru an Amp? The manual says D5151 has a built in amp.
2. If the answer for #1 is yes,
My subbox has 2 +- ports, naked speaker wires directly come out from in and go into the current amp (see the pic below),
can I just attach RCA +- plugs to each corresponding cords and plug them in directly to Sub1&2 of the Eonon?

In your picture those aren't the RCA's, those are the speaker wire that goes from the amp to the sub
No you can not plug your sub directly to the deck you need a amp to power the woofer you have to run 1 set of RCAs from the back of your deck to the amp so that the signal goes from the stereo to the amp
car stereos have built in amps to power door speakers not 10" or 12" subwoofers. aftermarket decks typical have more power then oem stereos but not enough to power subs
most aftermarket decks have muiltple RCAs outputs for muiltple amps "sub 1" can be for amp used for a subwoofer and "sub2 " can used for a 2channel amp to power front or rear speakers so in your case it shouldn't matter what output you choose

Pretty well this. As Chris stated you cannot just simply plug the sub into RCAs and put it to the deck. Most deck amps push maybe what 25Wx4 and that will not do a damn thing to your sub. The Sub1 would be for the main subwoofer. This would go subwoofer to the amplifier, amplifier to deck with RCAs. Sub 2 would be for a 2/4 channel amp, which once again as Chris said would be for door speakers should you choose to amplify the doors. Either that or running a second amp for another set of subs (ex. 2 12"s running off seperate amps). What are you trying to do anyway? Just get a simple sub in the car?

Hi John, you just need to connect the 2 RCA connectors of your sub to the Sub1, and Sub2 of our unit, quite easy. Just have a try, thanks!
That's what I heard back from Eonon for the same question. I was wondering if I could just go without the amp as they say the unit has a built in amplifier.
Tho I already have an amp and sub running, the LOC died a while ago and was trying to set them up in a most minimalized setup this time with a new HU then sub, with the amp bypassed.

Thanks for clarifying, so I assume that I just need to get a Y - RCA adapter, connect sub1 to the amp, then amp to sub. Would that work?

I really don't see a head unit having an amp powerful enough to power a subwoofer. You can still set it up from the amp you have to the head unit. Remove the LOC if you haven't already, pick up a set of RCAs and run it from the amp to the head unit and done. Everything else will stay the exact same as it is. I'm also wondering if Eonon was talking about the RCAs from the amp because Subs don't take RCAs. Except the ones with the built in amplifiers. And that's still the same thing as a sub and amp combo that are seperated.

Thanks Jamie. I think ill just get a Y RCA mono to stereo cable then just tap the old RCAs from the amp to it, seems like that's the easiest way :)

I'm kind of confused on how you wanna do it lol. You mean the old wires from the LOC. Connect those to the RCAs to the amp?

Well, I have no idea what the heck JohnyGT was talking about in the last part there... I do have SOME answers at least.
Regarding the Sub1 and Sub2 outputs from the back of the Head unit, use them both. Run the RCA's all the way to your amp into the RCA inputs.
Regarding the built in amplifier, it puts out 60W X 4, that uses the existing wiring in your vehicle for the door speakers.
There are however also RCA's for all door speakers, 4 pairs of them. If in case you decided to use your own amplifier.
If you use a y adapter that converts RCA output to speaker wire you wont be getting an amplified signal so your subwoofer wont work.
I have the D5151 installed in my car with aftermarket speakers and an amp+sub setup in the rear. Trust me.
If anyone has any questions just feel free to pm.
