Hey, was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem with their Gen2, where the driver side heated seat "bottom/butt" portion does not heat up but the lumbar portion works fine. I have tried from 1-5 with no changes. I would think it would be something wrong with the element but would gladly appreciate some feedback from those who have experienced a similar issue or knows what the problem could be. Thanks!

Funny you say this. My passenger bottom doesn't heat up but the lumbar portion will.
I didn't know of this was supposed to be like this since I just got heated seats .

Theres a good chance the element has burnt out. You can check it with a multi meter or pull the lower seat trim off and check if it is burnt.

It happened to my RX8. Went to the Dealership. They replaced the panel in the back.
It works fine now.

I wonder if they'll replace mine under warranty although my car didn't come stock with heated seats... they are OEM leathers...
Need to go in for that damn tensioner bearing noise though, its driving me nuts so I'll ask.
