Hi everyone...

I just wanted to get a quick opinion of people to maybe see what's normal and what's "out of range" or needs attention.
I have a 2013 2.5L Mazda 3 GT that has 50,000KM on it. Till date all maintenance has been done/ a few repairs.

I drive around 120KM every day that's all highway and i'm only being able to hit 450KM per tank regardless of what gas I try to use or driving styles. I'm not a crazy driver ripping it off the line. I cruise at 100-110KM on the highway.

(Air filter was changed last oil change ~5000KM ago)
Anyone else getting horrid gas mileage, and if so, any ideas of what to change or get taken care of?

:s is that horrid? I drive a 2014 2.0 manual and average about the same, not driving particularly efficiently... It's not a very large fuel tank.

P1TA You're getting about the same driving a 2.0 2014? That's crazy! I average ~550km per tank city driving (usually around 7.5L/100km), and not driving particularly efficiently either. Crazy good mileage whenever I get hwy driving outside the city.

2.slowwwww friend had a 2010 and my speed always got better fuel economy, but for skyactive you should be getting much better mileage, there is either something wrong or its your driving style. Took my girlfriends 2012 skyactive on a road trip the other day i did little over 500 km on about 30$ worth of gas or half tank. My Forester XT driven hard city 90% time easy gets 550km to a tank which is the same size as the Mazda's tank.
