Hi everyone I'm new here and I'm in need of some help!
Im a mustang guy and pretty new to Mazdas.....My girlfriend has a 2010 Mazda 3 Sport that she bought brand new and currently has about 135,000Km on it. For the last couple of years i have been doing the basic maintenance on her car like oil changes n such. A few weeks ago i purchased a remote starter from future shop and had them install it for her......and so far the starter has been a great upgrade and works really well. Our (my) problem started a few days after the install, we went for a drive (weather changing to cold and damp) and the front window is fogging up on the 401. So i noticed she had the front defroster on and the air recirulation button was also on. So after checking things out i discovered that when the mode is on front vents or floor the air recirculation button is off and when it is on defrost or defrost and floor the air recirculation button is on and will not switch to off. A quick look into the owners manual and it says its not suppose to be on in any defrost mode as this will cause fogging. Im not sure if the installer at future shop had anything to do with this or if it was just a fluke that we just noticed it now because of the weather is now changed. Im pretty lost here what to do....Has anyone here had a similar issue? and advice from you fine people? Thanks in advanced!
