Ive got snow tires with tread about 7 to 8/32 on two of them along the other , a little less along the middle treads and 2 tires that have about 4/32.is they safe for another wnter season of use? Ive had them for like 6 years now. General arctic tires.

7-8 is plenty, 4 is obviously pretty marginal. You must have missed the memo about rotating your tires. Your problem here is that you have two perfectly good tires and two tires which really should probably be replaced. Not a great situation.
Safe is a relative term. If you take it really easy (drive with lots of extra caution), don't drive in snowstorms, don't drive much in general and are very good at handling your car in the winter then yes, you *could* in theory be perfectly safe/fine.
BUT nobody on here (myself included) would ever recommend that you drive all winter with 4/32 because 1) you could get into an accident and kill yourself if you're not careful or 2) you could lose control and (heaven forbid) hit one of us.

Sounds like its time for new tires. The ones with 4/32 are useless. And after 6 years I'm sure the rubber is not that great.

We buy winter tires because we want to be safe and confident on the road right. 4/32 is pretty much toast for any tire.
If you're on a super tight budget, why not just replace the 2 tires that are 4/32.

Replace them all. 6 years is a long time and the rubber will be suboptimal. And forget the 4/32'nd's. Even the APA says not to installs winters if less than 5/32 or so.
Even a brand new set of chinese winters will be better. Good luck getting tires now thou, with many tire shops having a 2.5 weeks+ of solid bookings, even for basic swaps. The storm today will certainly make it worse.

That's up for debate. Don't cheap out on the most important thing on your car.

Wear bars are your friend. If you are at them then replace. That's old ass rubber tho

I have a brand new set of Blizzak WS80's on my ride...I'm well aware and agree with you here.
If money is an issue there are still relatively decent Chinese winters that would be better than old tires.

Snow tires are really good but they are useful only in the time of winter. I have got new snow tires 10 days ago as winter is coming. I am really feeling very excited to replace the tires and ride with my new tires. Are you a spambot Mr. Blake M Thomas? Me thinks yes.
