traction control and abs light on = cruise wont work?

Hey guys thoses 2 lights just popped the other day. Im thinking a broken sensor . I was wondering if this could also be thr reason why my cruise control wont work anymore? Cruise turns on but cant set any speed

If an ABS/TRAC light is flagged on newer cars, a lot of systems power down for safety. Cruise control relies on the vehicle speed and wheel speed sensors to safely control your car on its own. If it can't properly detect how fast it's going, then it won't allow autonomous control. You obviously haven't lost your vehicle speed sensor if your speedometer is still working, but the computer uses algorithms to take differential measurements of individual wheel speeds (and yaw sensor) to determine general stability.

I hit a bump on the 401 the other day and this exact thing happened to me, I took off all for wheels and checked the sensor it appeared that the sensors wires were cut so I soldered them back together and now everything works again and still no problems
