Someone attempted to defraud U.S. customs by changing the vin and year of a 2000 MINI to a 1988 to qualify for U.S. entry as a classic vehicle. The custom papers stated the vehicle was a 1988 MINI Cooper, which it was not.

It wasn't something high-value like a mid-60s authentic Cooper, but it was still an actual Mini and crushing it is a shame.
