TM3’s “Rap Battle” Thread

So after reading S.F.W.’s thread on “Night Before Christmas” I thought to myself, I wonder who else on here has a way with words. On a car forum, you may not usually get the chance to exercise your creative writing skills in random posts, so I figured let’s get a thread going where people can just dive in and throw it down! Whether you have something on your mind, want to respond to an earlier post in here, or just shoot the shit in a rhyming fashion, put some lines together and show us your mad skillzzz. Any and all styles are accepted. I’m not too good at this kind of artsy stuff anymore, but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what you guys and gals can put together. Feel free to call-out other members, but all in good fun!





So I guess I’ll get this started,
With nothing better to do tonight.
Relaxing on this rainy Christmas Eve,
Still with no Santa in sight.

I wouldn’t mind him coming in my house,
All quiet, and not a word of talking.
Leaving me car parts under the tree,
I hope he likes my Plastidipped stocking.

Windy and rainy weather,
Is what it’s like out there.
I wish it was a little whiter,
I’m not racist, I swear.

So with a few verses done,
I guess I’ll leave you with this.
Wishing you all Happy Holidays,
Whether it’s Hanukah, Christmas, or Festivus.

Time to sit back and enjoy,
The lucrative and blundered attempts this thread shall see.

Ironic because he'd probably be a better driver going backwards.



And finally we've got Jenn, who's now trying to compete with the men,
Calls us soap opera script-readers, while she watches The Days of Our Lives, again and again.
A dictionary won't help my Titanic flows, only my diction,
Thinking Asyed remains silent on any topic is just like science fiction.
Far from the best, keep working on your rhymes; tweaking and polishing,
