hey so i just got a 2010 hatch, gx i think. the steering wheel has none of the controls so i was wondering if i can just buy one of the steering controls like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2013-Mazda3-Steering-Wheel-Audio-Cruise-Control-Switch-Genuine-OEM-NEW-/201242892303?fits=Make%3AMazda%7CModel%3A3 and wire them in, but i dont have a bluetooth mic, or not that i can see one so wondering what i would do and around how much the price would be? another question i got is where my usb aux plug should be i only have a aux, and im wondering if i can use one of those smoking ports that have a usb slot, and just plug in a usb and play music from there?

I think so Reddie1337 didn't you do this?

Easiest way to say it all is no. If your car doesn't have Bluetooth, you can't just plug in the buttons and the Bluetooth works. The module isn't there. For the aux plug, that also has a separate module for the USB side of it. Easiest way to add USB and Bluetooth is to add an aftermarket deck.

Those buttons that you're looking at will add volume controls, seek controls, mode switching, and cruise control (has to be activated by the dealer)

If you have other questions for me, feel free to PM me directly, I have a lot of experience with these steering wheels, and swapping the controls out, I work at a dealership, and we add cruise to these all the time.

Reddie1337 Correct.

When we install Cruise units in that gen they have blank buttons where the bluetooth buttons are. You do get the audio controls but that's it. It does require aftermarket unit.

We have a Bluetooth module. All it does is phone commands, no audio streaming.

Invest in a nice touchscreen deck and do it up nice, most come with the extra hook ups for the USB and whatnot.
