Can anyone speak from experience as to how difficult it is to install the factory Sat Radio tuner into the 2010-2013 models? I downloaded a copy of the install instructions and it seems I have to remove part of the cluster and the centre console as well. That's the part that scares me. The rest of it seems easy enough (I wouldn't run the antenna to the back as I'd put it near the windshield instead.

Should I get the iPod kit as well, what is the reason for having to tap into the CAN + and CAN - terminals on the back of the cluster (?)

Here is the install guide: http://ep.yimg.com/ty/cdn/yhst-24809172479195/mazda3satradio10.pdf

Nothing to worry about removing the cluster it's really easy.

Want to do it for me (if I end up buying the car) :D BTW: I recall once seeing on here you work at YYZ? I work for an airline nearby but have never seen your car around the area).

Not particularly in the winter.
Yes, I do. Yyz is a big place.

I wouldn't ask you to do it in the winter! I'd help but I'm just a bit nervous to take important stuff apart.
