View Full Version : Clicking Noise from drivers side front tire area when wheels are turned at low speed
My 2007 Mazda 3 makes a clicking noise coming from the driver's side front tire when the car is either stopped and the wheels are turned left or right or when I am slowly turning into a parking space/driveway etc. The strut bearing was replaced but the sound is still there. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Possibly a bad CV joint.
A clicking sound while turning the wheels, but no sound in a straight line is a pretty good sign.

A similar thing happened to my car. I took it to my mechanic and it turned out there was some rust sitting in between the rim and the hub. A scrub with a metal wire brush and some sort of cleaning agent on both parts was all it took. I'm not sure how that could have caused the sound tho but may be worth checking out!

I have the same issue. It only happens when turning right/ left at an intersection in 1st/ second gear and only when turning under power. If you put the clutch in, there is no sound. Off to Jimmy's.
