fog lights.

hey guys i have a 2011 mazda 3 2l sedan
and atm my vehicle does not have fog lights and i would love to installed some im just woundering if anyone here on this forum has every tried to install fog lights
i was looking on ebay theres so many to choose from if anyone has a link on where they got theres would be great thanks yall.

OEMs can be found on eBay too which are probably your best bet.

Good news is that our cars are prewired for fogs so after physically installing the lights in ur bumper and swapping the turn signal stalk it's plug and play.

really its already prewired? so what your saying is that theres already plugs for the fogs lights? i just have to plug and play then switch my stalk with one with fog lamp option?

Yes, that's exactly it. There's already wires run to each fog light area, so it make it much easier for the install. If you're looking for place to buy fogs for your car, check out rockauto.com they sell oem parts for all cars and they're probably 'best bang for your buck'

one more question do i need to cut that cover off for the fogs on the bumper?

That cover you speak of should pop out... I believe its being held in with only clips.

Make sure the lights you do buy come with the plastic panels because I believe you can buy them separately.

i was gonna try and use the stock panels cause mine already has a cover for the fogs then the panel around.

When you buy the OEM kit, it will come with silver borders that replace the existing black cover and the fog lights.

You can choose to modify your current light stalk so that the fog will be on when your lights are on OR buy one with the fog switch.

Not surprised. Often why they get called the stealership.

It isn't a hard job to DIY. Wiring is there so its all plug and play. Signal/light switch is probably the most difficult part and its not necessarily difficult, just be careful prying of the plastic steering wheel cover!
