Yeah the Hall that you rent requires the DJ to have insurance in case they damage the Halls equipment.

Correct, as Electricf3el mentioned, most halls now require liability insurance to protect all parties involved. ****, all my music is legal and licensed through the former AVLA, now they are called Connect Music Licensing.
