Was looking at this website called the Fitting room and noticed that different dealerships will charge different prices for accessories.

http://tires.mazda.ca/mazda

I randomly chose two accessories and checked all the dealerships in Ontario for the same product and same vehicle.

Here's my findings:

Majority of the dealerships had the same price. Some were less expensive.

I guess the markups were the same for accessories, so the same list of dealerships applies to both products.

They're individual businesses

They also sell their cars at different prices

Price can also differ because of location. The gta dealerships on the list have higher prices to cover costs like higher cost of land etc. A somewhat rural delaership like Pembroke or hawkesbury will have a lowwer price because they have lower operating costs. It all boils down to which dealership is the least greedy really. Mrsp is a very loosely used term lol.

Thanks for sharing what you've found.

This is pretty common though because dealerships are independent from each other like Loki mentioned.

I did find one site that seemed to sell everything at EXTREMELY low prices. But the physical dealership isn't there. Perhaps a mistake?? Possibly they were listed everything at COST prices?

They had the AERO KIT at $1805 and the suff plates for only $125 :hawt

Dealers normally include installation in prices. Labour rates may differ. Our posted rate is $99/hr. Achilles will not exceed the three digit mark. You can purchase just the accessory without installation though.

You do get a TM3 discount on parts/accessories with us though so not sure why we didn't make the cut. ;)

Keep in mind some accessories are weird...For instance.... Fog Lights are a two part accessory, one for the switch and one for the lamps. I've had the question in the past where client thought they were cheaper but left out and important component.
