i'm not sure why but my windshield washer sprayer nozzles stop working when it gets really cold outside. i've never had this problem last winter. Is it a problem with the actual sprayer or is my fluid freezing in the tank maybe? I'm still using the rain-x bug/tar fluid

Its' most likely frozen fluid or clogged sprayers. Check the clear lines running to the sprayers under the hood, look to see if there is fluid movement. If you have access to an outlet get a blow dryer and heat up the sprayers and lines. See if that helps. If unsure about your fluid change it out.

It's the fluid. It's not meant for winter.

yup, effective to 32 degrees F, which means below zero expect it to freeze

yeah, its not for below 0 degrees. i guess that is the reason why but I will def pop my hood and have a look at the lines as flagrum said.

Honestly, if you can, you're going to have to drain it out when it's not frozen. So if you have a heated garage or anything, that would work.

Had a customer come in with this, had to take the bottle out, and take ice chunks out of his bottle.

Get it out of the reservoir if you can. I've lost the reservoir and the pump before on a truck from having it freeze. A private sale on a pick-up and the two days between driving it and actually buying it the owner filled it with summer washer fluid and I got it frozen solid.

Use the -45 stuff

Yeah, get it out. $5 of washer fluid is a lot cheaper than replacing the reservoir or the accident you might get in if you don't have working windshield washers in a worst-case scenario. I actually run -45C winter fluid all year long.
