hey everybody I hope someone can give me a answer with the problem i'm having .When I was driving I noticed a clunk sound from the front end every time I go over a bump in the road ,I took it to a mechanic because I thought It could be a serious problem. He checked it out and said all my ball joints stb link anything to do with safety is all good he couldn't figure out where the noise is coming from, he took me for a test drive and I didn't hear the noise at all .the next day BANG there's the noise
I hope someone can shed some light on my problem.
here's the list of parts I replaced so far
front left/right control arms
stabilizer links both sides
shocks and struts all around
left wheel bearing

well.. it sounds like you have replaced lots of parts for no reason.. BUT lets try and help. so when you hear this noise. is it every time you go over a bump. every bump. are we talking like up a drive way. or over a speed bump? where there is a level change or are you hearing something just when driving on the road. does temp matter. first thing in the morning, when hot or cold. can you hear the noise coming from a side? does it sound like its from the engine bay or in the cabin?

Year and mileage would help too!
Notice it when you turn going over bumps?

I have about 163000 km and I notice the noise whenever I go over a bump in the road early morning and when I get to my car around 6pm I.e the road is uneven .when I'm driving on the highway you don't hear nothing .those other parts I had to change due to wear and tear

Did he have a look at the steering at all? A worn steering shaft can make a thumping noise as well.

Could be front stabilizer bar bushings.
Here is a TSB that affected 2010's - thanks again for John Boot Booter22 for this original info posted a few years ago.
TSB: 02-10-05
2010 MAZDA3 - KNOCK / CLUNK NOISE FROM FRONT WHEN GOING OVER BUMPS
APPLICABLE MODEL(S)/VINS
2010 Mazda3 vehicles with VINs lower than JM1BL******336667 (produced before June 1, 2010)
DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may experience a knock / clunk noise from the front of the vehicle when going over bumps. Typically the noise occurs at the right front of the vehicle with only the right front tire. Due to the impact while going over bumps, a vertical force is applied to the crossmember through the stabilizer which causes crossmember movement on the bushing. This movement is caused by the change of the surface characteristics of the bushing during hot ambient temperatures in summer. Less holding force during cold temperatures results in movement and stick-slip noise at the bushing (A) near the front (F) of the front crossmember. The bushing is now modified to reduce the movement.
NOTE: This concern is best duplicated with cold ambient temperatures below 12.8 degrees C (55 degrees F). Once the vehicle has warmed up, the concern may be difficult to duplicate.

as far as driving, is there any pulling. shakes, shifts when driving? did all the install parts get checked? were they oem? if anything wait 1 more month and once it warms up see if it goes away

It's most likely the sub frame bushing mentioned before. I have the same problem on my 2010 and all front end components are new. I can't be bothered to do it until it warms up.

Sounds like something I'm experiencing. Happens during the winter months only (right-front), however only when it's well below 0, like today -8. Are TSB covered after the warranty (free fix)?

2010 GS with the same issue. Just had front struts, stabilizer links, and lower control arms done. Only does it when it's really cold outside, on the front right side, and has only started doing it this winter. After about 10 minutes of driving however it seems like it goes away...
