2010 3i Sedan
Have had some issues over the past year with starting - slow to start, 2nd try etc..Today I started it and it sounded funny, almost like a piece of metal falling (not what happened, just sound reference... thought was odd so decided to turn off and turn on again... wound't start). Don't believe battery was ever replaced.. (2nd owner). so time for new one. Started searching - optima seems to be recommended. I have some Can Tire money though and could get the Motor Master ( http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/motomaster-eliminator-ultra-flat-plate-agm-automotive-battery-0102420p.0103520.html#.VQD3PuE1R8o ) though - thoughts?
I checked manual, it states: Battery:2.0-liter engine 12V-40AH/5HR, 12V-52AH/5HR
My question:
1) I've read about group 35 as "norm" and 24F as being large. Where in the manual can I find anything about 24F - or is it not mentioned?
Sorry - car isn't my strong point. Having a hard time finding info on "35" or "24" in manual etc... other than optima saying it's a 35 on their site.
Thank you,
