Hey guys, long story short, my stock tires are starting to go, I need new tires but because of tuition for university I am short on cash, my buddy gave me his 11 mzspeed stock rims, my other buddy has a set of Dunlop SP 600 from his 11 sti he said I could take. I have 2 separate questions.
1) Will the speed rim fit on my 3 (speed stock tire = 225/40) - and I know the bolt pattern fits what I mean to ask is will it cause rubbing anywhere
and
2) If I am able to get the 245/40 tires on the 18-7.5 speed rims, would that cause a lot of issues? Such as rubbing or what not

I know I AM NOT SUPPOSED TO do #2 but I only need them to last me through this summer, and trust me, I would not be asking about this if I had any other solution. My car is @ stock setting 2011 GT hatch. Any input would be appreciated! Thank you! :bang:bang:bang:bang:bang

1) you'll be fine
2) I don't even think that would physically/safely mount. Could be wrong, but I'd be surprised.

dont think its possible to put on 245s on a x7.5.
should not cause rubbing with the stock speed rims on stock height.

You might have rubbing on the your shocks with the 245.

Definitely will rub on the shocks.. I have 235 on my tires and its almost touching.

Could be wrong.. Im interested to hear who is running with 245

245s are too wide. Run the MS3 wheels on 225s./ Should be noted tires of the same series also vary in width...

When I was really tight on cash, I went to the junk yard. Not the safest choice but, need to get by.
