Hi everyone. I need some new summer tires (P205/50R17) as my original Goodyears have expired. I'm looking for a mid-range tire that will perform well in wet conditions, but won't be used for winter [as I have separate winter tires].
Any recommendations?
Thanks!

In my opinion.. get whatever you can get a good price on. In the mid-range I feel like there's negligible difference between summers. That said, don't go buying super budget tires like Nexens or something and expecting them to perform like brand name tires.
I like to look at TireRack's ratings and tests (not reviews) when shopping for tires.

People always says summers.... but they actually mean all-seasons.
summers = high performance, stick to the ground.
all seasons = last longer, smoother ride.
Go with the General Altimax RT43 for $605 taxes in, installed plus get $35 rebate.

I wouldn't get the GenHoles. There are way better tires for the same or just alittle more then $600. The Ventus V2C2 are the same price as the Generals. You can get Bridgestone RE760, Pirelli P7, Avids, Continental Pure Contact, Yok S Drive fro a little more than the Generals. The Altimax RT43 are a basic passenger car tire, the ride will be quiet and soft but not very sporty.
