I love the videos this guy makes. He often brings up some very though-provoking points. Plus I'm all about dem flowz.

Here's one that may get you thinking..

How many of you work to live? And how many of you live to work?

I can't live to work.

Selling cars on commission is a tough go for someone who values quality of life above all, but that's life.

I work to live. A few years back we were acquired by an American company and i was amazed to find out how generous Canadian employers were with vacation time, stat holidays and parental leave. It's definitely a privilege to have those days!

It's not about taking your vacation, it is about making the most of your days.
Last year I was on a work trip in Florida for two weeks working 60hr weeks and still had so much fun every day, it was just fantastic. I had previously planned a family vacation so I had to cut the work trip short to go on vacation. Surprisingly, I had less fun and fewer "moments" on vacation then I did hanging out with my colleagues every night. Sure, it is nice to see the world, but if you go on vacation by yourself to anywhere in the world you will likely have less fun than if you just spent every day living it up with friends.

Live each day to the fullest.

A Job is somewhere you go to everyday , what brings you the most stress and it might fill your wallet but makes you forget your dreams and sometimes lose yourself in the process. A career is the end game , what you have worked so hard for , your whole life. A career is somewhere you will be happy , it does not mean you will make the most money , might not even be the most lavish lifestyle , but when you leave at the end of the day you will be happy. It is okay to build your dreams off of someones elses, just dont get stuck building someones elses dream.
