Pretty sure this is the right section, but whatever lol So I repalced my passenger side headlamp due to the fact that after my accident, they only replaced my driver side so my headlamps were not balanced out (yes, it bugged the shit out of me to have one yellowed out and one clear...) anyways, I installed it and everything was find until the temperature dropped for a few days and major fog built up on the inside. Not only did it fog up, but major water is building up and it wont dry up now that the weather is getting better. Its an aftermarket headlamp. Contacted the company and they said they recommend customers to re seal it prior to installation. Naive like I am, I didnt know that. No instructions came with it. Any tips on what I can do? Ive never done this before but I really wanna fix this issue. Arent the vents suppose to keep the moisture out? What part of the headlamp needs to be sealed? Like I said ive never done this so I dont know what needs to be sealed...:(

Lol, you shouldn't have to reseal a headlight once you buy it before you install it.
Sounds like a TYC cheap aftermarket headlight. I've had a good success rate resealing the ones that I've done for my customers. Just needs a little extra care and butyl.

You're not naive, they're just lazy and dont want to warranty anything. TYC is notorious for leaking.
The vents in TYC don't have the 1 way fabric in them that OEM does. So I usually plug them up and make my own.

Thanks for the reply... it's actually a TYC. No wonder its a piece of crap. If I wouldve known I wouldve gotten OEM and install it myself. Urgh. What would recommend I do with this? Any specific steps to take in order to fix this issue?
