This weekend I noticed that the level on the coolant overflow bottle was a bit on the low side (with the engine cold, there is about 1/2 inch at the bottom of the bottle). This would not be an issue since it is above the MIN level when the engine is hot. My concern is that the fluid is not the bright "fluorescent neon" green it is supposed to be (my 2008 Mazda 3 (2.0l) has the FL22 sticker on the coolant overflow bottle). I had the coolant changed at around 180000 Km "chez Crappy Tire" (I know, a bad choice!) and I have no idea what kind of "cr@p" they put in. The car now has 240000Km and I think it would be wise to replace the coolant (complete coolant flush) and refill with authentic Mazda FL22 coolant. I've been very lucky I have not had any overheating or failure issues. What would be the best way to completely drain and refill the coolant? Thank you.
