second automatic transmission oil change. flush again?

I flushed my ATF at 50k, and inserted some synthetic atf.
now at 100k, I belive it is time again (someone told me every 50k,but correct me if I am wrong)
at 50k it was flushed.
Every time trans oil is replaced, should it be flushed or can drain and fill do the job sometimes? does it matter if it is synthetic doing this?

This is a good threat statting the 50k interval is good for preventative maintenance, but it doesn't answer the question about flushing it every time, or just drain and fill sometimes. I remember reading somewhere years ago that constant flushign could be bad for some reason? or is my memory bad.
I would like to point out that my mech told me that my drain pan is leaking and will be replaced (next week).
