No amount of rust proofing is gonna save the 3rd Gen from rusting in the problematic area that many people (myself included) are experiencing...

Is the warranty cover the rusting problem?

Best323 they sent the pics and estimate to Mazda. Waiting for a response. They better cover it or else they will have many agree customers.

I just bought a 2014 and declined it. Mainly because i don't plan on keeping it for more than 2 years & rust is covered in the Mazda warranty anyway.

How long do you plan on keeping it?
If you plan on going long term, I suggest Corrosion Free. The Canadian Military rates it as best.

I own a 2015 Mazda 3 sedan GT - White... Does anyone notice rust stains on the back of there trunk? I brought it to the dealership and they can't believe there is rust on there. I am suppose to bring it back next week so they can take pictures and send it out for warranty. This car is literally 6 month old.... Anyone else having issues with rust on there 2015 models?

Rust is best in all cars can't deny it. Rust module if you always driving and aren't travelling. IE flying. Then I'd do krown. Best of luck.
