Rear window channel rust!

I was trying to fix some rust spots on the rear window channels and when I pulled one out, the very bottom part of it was almost rusted through.
In the top image you can see the hole that is not supposed to be there. If the end piece brakes off, the window may not go up/down properly. The piece at the bottom was from the other side and was starting to rust as well, although not as bad. The top piece was painted when I first took it out few days ago because I did not know how long it would take to get the new channels.


The good news is that they are only $25 and change each at Mazda dealer.

Awesome! I was looking for these mine are just starting to rust at the bottom most part of the channel

Is that Gen1 or Gen2?

Too bad the B-pillar on the rear doors isn't that easy to change....wifes are rotten.
